Tommy Bina joins BD Freeman for a warm, chaotic, joke-filled tour through his life and the mythology of Laurel Canyon. Tommy starts with growing up in Tehran, hearing “Dream On” by Aerosmith, moving to Alabama, learning English with a Southern accent, and eventually landing in Los Angeles.

From there, the episode becomes a run of Canyon Country Store stories: Mama Cass living below the store, Jim Morrison nearby, David Bowie ordering Cadbury Flakes, Mick Jagger buying one KitKat, Brooke Shields asking for frozen yogurt, Steven Tyler walking in as “Dream On” plays, and Ozzy Osbourne being unexpectedly polite. Tommy keeps swerving into one-liners about dating, fish rehab, insurance, social media, and sandwiches, while BD tries to keep the interview on the rails.
